Inflatable Kayak Trips

Kennebec River – Lower

This inflatable white water kayaking trip has something for everyone from novice to expert. Lots of great paddling in rapids like Blackbrook and stand-up rips. Combined with a short hike to some terrific swimming holes and Maine’s largest waterfall (100 ft. Moxie Falls) for lunch. All this makes for an unforgettable adventure filled with awe and wonder.

The trip is appropriate for most groups with a minimum age of 12 yrs. This trip is great in combination with a day rafting on the upper Kennebec Gorge for Families, Schools, Youth Groups or anyone looking for a day of extremely fun intermediate inflatable kayaking.

Dead River

The Dead River runs throughout the summer at lower water flows called recreational releases. Using smaller boats and inflatable kayaks these releases offer a technical run with endless play spots-combining a day of intermediate rafting with aggressive inflatable kayak paddling.

This is a rigorous 16 mile trip with lots of action. It is our most difficult inflatable kayak trip and is not for the faint of heart. You can bring along a raft to make this trip easier and appropriate for a broader group.

This inflatable whitewater kayaking trip also includes a complete homemade meal.

Seboomook River

Hidden deep within the North woods of Maine, the beautiful chute drop Seboomook River offers 5-foot drops, surf holes, and waves. A wide variety of options (including easy walk-arounds) accommodate a full range of paddling skills. Wildlife abounds – it’s the Guides‘ Choice! Special boating release on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend of 1,500 cfs.
