Some have screened porches, whirlpool tubs and a view of the Kennebec River. Our staff is a group of fun friendly people who love the outdoors and enjoying the company of people from away while providing superior personal service. The Forks and Inn By The River are home to the best Maine whitewater rafting and hundreds of miles of groomed Maine ITS snowmobile trails for your enjoyment. From our front door it is commonplace to see deer and moose, or eagles flying overhead. Beyond the Inn gardens, there are many hiking, mountain-biking, and snowmobile trails for you to explore. Maine's best rivers and lakes are at hand for fly fishing, ice fishing, boating, whitewater rafting, canoeing, and kayaking or just to sit beside and read a book. Our front porch is a place of rest where people relax and commune while watching the river flow by.
