Inn By The River sits directly on Maine ITS 86 and 87 and is connected to ITS 89 locally. Our trail system is groomed right to our front door daily. The Forks area is well known for hundreds of miles of well-groomed trails to many of the finest scenic sites and locations accessible by snowmobile.
We are a participating member of Coburn Summit Riders; the local area snowmobile club. The club is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the local area snowmobile trails as well as all equipment and personnel associated with that task. Coburn Summit Riders is able to do this through fundraisers, memberships, volunteers and donations from the local community.
What We Ride
Located in the Northern Woods of Maine, we get to ride some of the best trails that the state has to offer! Due to the elevation of the mountains, we get snow first and lose it last. Often times the riding season starts in late November, early December and lasts well into April.
We Have Everything You Need
We also have everything you need to complete your Maine snowmobiling experience with warm cozy accommodations, breakfast lunch and dinner daily, a heated workshop, onsite fuel and much more. We here at Inn By The River are also a great source of honest up-to-date local trail conditions.
Winter Weekday Special!
Stay one midweek night (Sunday through Thursday) and get the second midweek night free! This is a great way to lengthen your weekend stay and enjoy midweek riding. Special is available in January. Some restrictions apply. Call for details.
