A romantic, fun location for your Wedding Celebration

Inn by The River has had the wonderful privilege of hosting a number of romantic weddings, receptions, remarriages, and elopements over the years. Both at the Inn and on the Kennebec River shore side, each has been unique and memorable. They have included wintertime ceremonies inside by the fireplace, spring and summertime ceremonies under the Birch Flowering Arbor overlooking the Kennebec River, and September ceremonies in the upper Kennebec gorge - shore side in Cathedral Eddy. Most of our couples have returned at later times and spoken of how the memories made at Inn By the River will stay with them always.

Inn by the River is able to host weddings of up to 50 people inside the Inn . Larger weddings are accommodated in the summer months using the beautiful landscaped grounds outside. Whitewater Rafting on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers are often enjoyed by the wedding party and their guests and is provided by Inn By the River Outdoor Adventures.Working with the Inn's staff and our culinary team, all of your reception needs, from music, decorations and dining, to a personally designed wedding cake will make your wedding the perfect romantic day.

Our wedding packages are individually designed to meet your needs and can include guest room accommodations, bride and groom's room, intimate rehearsal dinner, rental of the Inn and all the grounds and a 1st year anniversary gift certificate for the bride and groom.Inn By The River and staff have enjoyed being a part of many couple's celebrations and look forward to helping you design the wedding of your dreams.
