Big game
consists of Deer, Bear, and Moose. Moose hunting is
on a lottery basis. We also offer grouse hunting in
the fall and rabbit hunting in the winter. All hunts
can be guided or non-guided. If you wish to procure
the services of a guide, we will need a minimum of 2
weeks lead up time for your hunt. Walking directly behind
the Inn, up over the hill, can lead to personal encounters
with all of our game species. Fall Hunt 2001, Chad McLean
bagged his 6 point buck, behind the Inn. Fall Hunt 2003,
another guest shot his 6 point buck on the hill behind
the Inn.
